Need Adapted Care for Psychosis – the Power of Human Interaction

It is our privilege to welcome you to the 23rd ISPS International Conference, Need Adapted Care for Psychosis – the Power of Human Interaction. The title honors late Yrjö Alanen’s work on developing the Need Adapted approach.
Our aim is to raise awareness of the possibilities psychological and social approaches offer – for clinicians of various professions in collaboration with family caregivers and the people who have had these experiences themselves.
We are thrilled to have such excellent plenary speakers covering fields from the individual experiences and therapies to families, inpatient units, and the society.
An important part of ISPS conferences is to meet participants from around the world and share experiences. June in Finland is usually beautiful and the time of the midnight sun and allows for late discussions.
The conference will be held in Helsinki Metropolitan area at Espoo. Our venue is the Aalto University building called Dipoli famous for its beautiful architecture.
